This is going to be mainly focused on UK citizens but it is very easy to find out the entry requirements for other countries. As of right now, people from the UK can enter Vietnam for up to 15 days without any visa. If you’re wanting to visit for longer than that (up to 30 days) you can apply for what’s called an E-Visa.
What is an E-Visa?
An electronic visa (E-Visa) is one type of visa for foreigners entering Vietnam. The visa is issued online, electronically and is valid for up to 30 days (single entry).
For the E-Visa, you can only enter through a select few ports and it is only available to certain countries.
Here’s a list of countries that can get this type of visa.
Here’s a list of ports that you can enter the country through, holding this visa.
You must hold a valid passport.
You must also be from one of the designated countries and you must enter Vietnam through one of the designated ports.
How to Apply
In order to apply for the E-Visa, you need to fill in a form with all the correct information. You also have to submit a passport photo as well as a photo of your actual passport.
It then costs you $25 (US) to submit your application which takes about three working days to be processed.
Just make sure that you fill in every piece of information because if you miss something out, your application will get rejected.
This is probably the easiest way to gain entry to Vietnam. However, if you don’t have set travel plans, it may be better for you to get a different single entry visa.
Hope this was helpful, guys!
